Off Topic:

Does it seem that there are traders here that are a bit cranky? Gee, this stock has went from $5.75 on 8/31/98 to 12.875 on 1/29/99. When I do the math, that is %100 plus gain in aprox 5 months. Regardless of what this stock has done before 8/31/98, or what it does after 1/29/99, this stock has been a stellar performer for the last 5 months. Also, this company IS on the brink of its first drug going to the marketplace. I believe this may be the primary target Ligand has had its sights on since its inception, bringing drugs to market. Yea, yea, I know there is no approval yet! But I also know there will be an approval relatively soon.

To recap:
1.More than a %100 price appreciation for those traders that were on there game when LGND hit 5.75 in very late August.(and it is not LGND.com)(whoa,would that mean in dollars, $100,000 in LGND on 8/31/98 would now be worth $223,913?)

2.First approval right around the corner

What gives with all the sad faces?

See ya TD,
Greg

PS: Wish I could help with the TA, but I'm not your man. I do know that a few days ago a friends high powered TA program was calling LGND a strong buy. I know that is little help now, but FWIW.
