This is my vision for the drug sector ...

Analysts have the drug sector pegged as trading at historically high PE's only because it is relative to trailing earnings and some companies will have drug patents expiring within the next year. However specific companies with strong pipelines will be going forward with FDA submittals in '99; analysts will revamp their earnings estimates based on future revenue potential of what is coming out of the pipelines. Hence the drug sector will once again move on momentum of future growth. And if my market sense is correct, the market will be entering a corrective phase as new drugs in the pipeline is being promoted, then BAMM, defensive stocks will future growth potential will be in vogue.

sonki, the tech rally may be heading for some type of blowoff. DELL is not close to blowing off yet ... after all, it has rested for two quarters in transition.
