Hears the weather/daylight report.
Its getting light around 9am and dark around 4.30, dont have the official times handy but we are gaining 5-10 minutes of light daily.
its going down to 32C tonoght. the winter road is open to light trucks and they will start hauling loads any day now.
Walter Melnik geo for WSP and project boss passed through town today flying up to Snap, so things are happening already. Drill and some equipement on site so just needs a crew to start turning.

Now for daylight, I think its called a nomogram and I have one , its a chart for anywhere in world just put a ruler between date and latitude and it gives number of hours of daylight. Mine says Jan31 Yk has 8hrs.
Handy devise, everyone should have one and no doubt there is one in some book at your local library,or somewhere on the internet.
Theres your news for the day.
regards Walt
