The possibilities for the DCAM chip are particularly interesting, although the quarterly seemed to emphasize the "internet-related" aspects of LSI's efforts. Did you get a feel for how important storage is becoming for LSI? - I owned NTAP and STK, and was led to believe that the coming need for storage is enormous.
Pardon my delay in response-- being out of pocket a couple of days again-- but wanted to respond to your excellent post, as it points to the kinds of things some of us have been owning LSI for (for quite some time, actually)... Thanks! again.
