Thread mates: I bought PRFM because I always buy my perfume, and gifts for others, at Perfumania (yes they have men's cologne too) at great discount prices compared to department stores. Hard to believe the company doesn't make money -- stores are always busy -- so it must be the old expenses are higher than income story. Another reason I bought PRFM is that I believe the website will be convenient for buyers (we buyers know what we like already), and the web is a smart business move for Perfumania -- more sales, low overhead, great international distribution network, new ventures with more distributors, etc. Another reason I bought PRFM is that I thought I could make some money now on the launch of the website, and save some shares for the longer term (on the house, so to speak). I've got to tell you that I respect Anthony's expertise, and his honesty when he thinks a stock is overbought and overvalued. And, I truly believe he is trying to help us minimize the downstroke. I think (and hope) he is premature on his call by a day or two. We all know that what goes up quickly, corrects down after the spike. All that said, I'm still looking for a gap-up on Monday, and will follow my original plan of taking profits and sitting on some for the longer term. If Perfumania doesn't make money in the future with the web stores -- well, then I've got another decision to make. Good luck longs -- and shorts. M
