OK, Been waiting for a new ASIC1 post from Yhoo. Here it is..... NO, IBM Global Services is currently running Ancor switches. look for some real good news the first half of Feb. It will make all this worth it. If Ancor does not hit double digits after that then I don't know what will. " THINK GREEN " I'm slow. Who can think green for us?

Freep, Thanks for your comments on the post production world. Premier Communications in KC, MO says they are using FC to link four workstations (would they be SGI workstations?) and a pair of RAID towers with 140 GB. Two of the workstations are for graphics (one 3D) and the other two are used for editing. "This arrangement allows a person in one room to create a three-dimensional graphics effect, another to edit the background footage against which the effect will be shown, a third to composite the two files together, and a fourth to add the finished product to the master file." "We all can work on the same drives, we can share those files, and it just saves a huge amount of time, says Andrews." (Gotham Pictures NY, NY). We need more apps like post production who crave FC switches. Greg
