Can anyone answer my question related to PRFM's interest in colognes?

Message 7563792

It would also seem that their access to the masculine side of fragrances would be quite simple, given that most major brands have both perfume and cologne variations, and that PRFM obviously has accounts with the companies who produce the fragrances already.

I suppose they would have to do some sort of marketing campaign towards men as well. As such, this question mainly relates to PRFM's long term business outlook.

TIA,
Dave

PRFM, Jeff: There is something wrong about this whole short on PRFM today. If Anthony was really interested to make money for himself and his faithful, why short today?? If you want to make money in shorting a stock let it run first. The whole world knows that PRFM will open it's web site Monday and that the stock will rise from this. So why not wait till Monday and short??? I have two theories. One is that the people involved have huge egos and picked today to see what kind of influence that they have over the stock. The second is that there is someone else in the background that needed this stock to drop. Maybe a MM that was short shares and was looking at deep trouble Monday.

In either case I really think this is going to work out better for those of us that are long. When the news hit Monday the shorts are already in. They have two choices cover or ride it out. Very few will have the funds to continue to short this stock. If it was a MM that needed shares they got plenty today and will let this guy run Monday.

Just my read on today.
