Fellow Arp shareholders:

I had a semi-private talk with Patricio Jones after his talk at the Cordilleran yesterday. In answer to the question, "do you have enough friendly shareholders on side to thwart the Barrick bid" he stated they have close to 50 percent. Barrick hasn't got it yet and it is up to us small guys. The Lundins bought a good proportion of their private placement, increasing the percentage of friendly shares.

Barrick, if they win will have to work with the local people in Argentina. Most of the geologists and workers with Arp are Argentinians, local guys seen working for the home communities. They have strong and healthy working relationships and direct family ties to the community, and many have invested their own personal wealth in this project. Even the great shark Barrick, can have this mine killed if they don't play right with the locals.

If Barrick backs off, there are companies who will step up and fill in the void when Arp proves up the resource, and they are pretty close to doing just that.

If you have pledged your shares, back out! If you haven't, hold on for a real offer. If Barrick declines at $5.00, who cares, this is looking like a world class play on its own.
