DaiS Anytime you are talking about hundreds of millions of dollars, with an approved drug on the market anything goes........just IMHO..Al
I don't mean to get carried away with all this chatter, but it appears that Vivus/Wilson has become a pawn which others are trying to manipulate ( sorry VLAD had to use the word). I'M STARTING TO FEEL REAL BAD FOR WILSON.

DaiS,

Can you get on the horn over there in England and contact the Astra/Zeneca headquarters to inquire as to why the delay in the individual licensing in the various EU countries?

Also, can you find out for sure if it is A/Z or Vivus who is responsible for filing all the needed paper work to get individual licensing granted.

If it is indeed A/Z's responsibility, I would like to know exactly what their excuse is.

I assume that it is their(A/Z's) responsibility and they are just delaying the paper work because they did not intend to launch MUSE until after the Viagra noise dies down and the safety concerns grow momentum?

I used to get e-mail replies from Astra within a few days but my last inquiry took over a month and because of the merger instead of answering my question they just confirmed that they got the question and forwarded it to whatever department is now in charge of answering such questions so in essence I still have not received an answer to a question sent back on December 24, 1998.
