CB:
Good comments.

Many "E-traders" haven't got a clue that when you factor in the debt, many stocks that are trading at silly-putty levels are actually worthless. The assets are already essentially "owned" by the debt-holders, unfortunately, typically at "pennies-on-the-dollar" ratios to what they put up, and only if they are first in line.

Fundamental research is grunt work,... not for those who don't like a bit of grease under their fingernails as it were. Too much work, compared with either watching the Omega charts or buying for the long haul.

This is actually a small part of our "only the mortally wounded" short strategy that we have mentioned in the past as a survival approach for shorts hoping to emerge from this massacre with a bit of fur.

I love companies that are staggering under big debt loads, and during this last two years, many have sure loaded up. Tote that barge,...lift that bale. (g)

Best, Earlie
