Matt, Just now read your post from last night. . .sorry, I don't read all of them. Regarding your competition challenge with Anthony, I'll bet 50 trades would take me all the way back to the September. I like taking positions and holding them.

But I will show you two performance records that have both been public record for over a month.

ONE MONTH TRADING PERFORMANCE:
biz.yahoo.com
This demonstrates my performance in the November Yahoo Investment Challenge [each person gets 100k for 1 month. . . 130,000 investors competed.]

I had 4th place on the final day with 1.3 million up from 100k, but 4th was not "in the money." So on the final day, I made about 30 super risky trades to get into the money, but in doing so fell back to 10th with somewhere over 900k. Ironic part is that during the contest, I forgot to trade BAMM for much more than a double, whereas in real life I was in at 2.75 and out for a 14 bagger. Oh, and I never traded K-TEL [like winners did] out of shear principle.

LONG UNTRADED PORTFOLIO
techstocks.com
I even shocked myself watching this totally LONG [never traded] portfolio assembled on December 9, 1998 using my own totally new technique for selecting long stocks. 40 stocks were chosen to reduce the overall risk. . .mostly high-tech and internet.

Not sure if I calculated correctly on the Amazon 3 for 1 split, and I may have missed some other splits. . . so it might actually be higher than it shows. Also, positions are 1 share per stock for educational purposes more than for the best possible performance. Obviously, I would have TRADED some of these in real life on news, earnings, etc.

I would like to see a list of 40 or more stocks that were picked by ANY FUND MANAGER that shows a performance record showing near this one.

That should satisfy you for a while regarding your little competition.

Thanks Matt,

Rande Is
