how does this affect orcl?

Sara's business model has notable similarities to the break-out company, CMGI Inc. / cmgi.com except for one
critical distinction: the Sara Hallitex SIPOD Program automatically awards a portion of the equity acquired in its new
companies to Sara shareholders as a stock dividend (in these same companies) while keeping a percentage of the
equity as a long-term Sara Hallitex holding.

Accordingly, the company will be issuing a percentage of the equity it now owns in its most recent spin-out,
SolutionNet Inc. -- a development partner of Oracle Corp. [Nasdaq:ORCL - news] and Sun Microsystems -- to all
Sara shareholders of record who purchase shares in the company by the close of trading today, Jan. 29, 1999.

If you consider machinery as simply a mechanical means of processing information (which is really all it is), then the Industrial Revolution was really the beginning of the Information Age. I'd say we're at about lunchtime.
