Mary.
There is a lot of this going around on SI:
"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded!"

Mary, what a wonderful idea. Homeless and hungry people are my our main charity. We let them decide what to do with the money (and clothing), but never thought of underwear!!! As a matter of fact we threw away used underwear, and only donate the outer clothing. Yet people need to have underwear (unless she is Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct). You are starting a movement.

Let me share you a funny experience: You find some people with a sign: "Any help will be appreciated" standing on the street island at the traffic light. I saw a couple of them with only one arm, and whenever I had to wait for the light, I gave them a dollar. One day I saw a man with only his left arm. After I gave him a dollar, I asked: "Vietnam?"
He answered "No, Texas. I was f***ing this woman when the husband came home and blasted me...". He never got another dollar from me.

Since when have you been in Dell?

Best regards

Paul

Lovely compassionate idea, Mary, Lovely! Thank you very much for the suggestion.
