I beg to differ Brian. The Economist, is still standing where they were two years ago when they wrote that like in a gold rush the winners would be the ones that sells the picks and showels and not the ones that are doing the digging. They are still saying the same: that the Cisco's and SUN's will be the winners. I love the Internet due the kick in the butt the it has given to Telcos, their established suppliers, telecoms regulators and the ITU among many. All that said: I think the Internet is ready for a bit of debunking. It excited everyone that is excitable but its going to face reality soon. The stock market, being this herd that it is, will not leave the Cisco's of this world standing when the bubble burst.
