so downsouth, you don't think aol & lycos will outperform msft for next six months...or is it that it is not worth the risk with the net stocks to find out. feel like i am going to roll the dice.

posters on aol thread seem certain that mut fund mngrs will want to reflect sizeable holdings in aol by 3-31

Well, I think lots of companies will convert themselves into an internet company in the near future. Example:

CPQ , DELL , IBM, HWP, AAPL will put a web to sell computer hardwares through the internet.

GM, F will start to sell autos through the internet.

PFE, MRK ... will start to sell drugs on the internet.

All the insurance will start to sell their policies through the internet.

All the department stores will start to sell merchandise through the internet.

All the fast food stores will sell food through the internet....

So, every stock in the US market will claim itself as an internet stock, and the stock price will shoot to the sky !!!!
