Looks like the mkt wasn't too impressed with the convertible bond offering by Amazon.com.

Has Roger Babb commented on this? He's the convertible bond guru.

FORD buys Volvo for 6+B$. YHOO buys GeoCities for about 4B$. Volvo with many B$ revenue and hundreds of millions of profits. Geo with a few hundred millions revenue and no profits. Interesting comparison. And AMZN is worth 3 times more than Volvo.
