Mark,
perhaps Inprise has the best tools in the world...but they're for
PCs and I think the PC era is over. Everybody knows it and that's
why Inprise first brought Open Environment and then Visigenix. Borland's historical strength lies in better programming abstraction, easy integration and efficient code. I haven't seen any of these while Inprise tried to move toward enterprise/web programming tools. And certainly there's no genius in the league of Bill Joy inside Borland to come up with anything revolutionary. I own Inprise because I brought Visigenix. But my position is so small that I am just treating it like a lottery play. I certainly hope the good name of Borland will bring people fortune. But if this dog ever reach 8, I certainly won't let it go like last time!

I'm not knocking the developers. From what I know firsthand, the tools are superior in many respects. You twisted around my message.

Rod, twisting someone's message? I find that hard to believe...
