Hey, Trippi -- I think that's a very good point about the difficulty some of us long-timers are having realizing that we're finally beginning to realize that the dream we've been talking about for so long is finally arriving. I know that this is pretty true for me. It's weird, you get so used to lowering and adjusting expectations that you don't believe it when the pattern shifts. Once bitten, twice shy, you might say. Or as those of us who are psychologically minded might put it, we've developed a sense of learned helplessness. Anyway, I do believe that the big change is finally coming. Thanks for the work you've been doing getting the word out -- I see your posts sprinkled around SI -- I appreciate the voice that you're bringing to this thread. And Gerry -- I'm really looking forward to seeing your predictions come true. I know that I've been harsh on you in the past, but I continue to hope that you're right. And believe it or not I hope that you don't disappear altogether as you seem to be suggesting you will -- why not hang around? Well, I guess I'm just a one-man love fest this afternoon. I spent all day yesterday writing my doctoral comps, so I'm just now catching up with yesterday's action and the messages on the thread. I can't wait to see where things go from here!
