RE -<<Weren't you just on talking about your "short" of Intel ... Hate to say it Steve, but the market is making you look like an idiot.>>

Yes, I was talking about a short trade on Intel on which I made 9+ points. Now, I think that Intel, by virtue of their stock split, will break a new 52 week high. Most stock split announcements for the first 2 weeks or so are followed by price increases.

Why would I look like an idiot. You conveniently forgot that I talke short term positions only. Today out of 28 trades the average length of time I held was maybe 45 minutes. I change my mind all the time.
You may have opinions that you hold dearly, my opinions sometimes change from one day to the next about a certain stock. You don't make money holding onto an opinion. I change my mind on the following stocks which I trade regularly so often, it will probably make your head spin - SGI, CIEN, INTC, CD, WDC, LSI, SUNW, AMAT, BSX, AMD, AAPL and on and on. I can tell you I made real good money changing my mind often.

I'm beginning to think that you guys hold onto your stocks for ages.

Besides, idiots like myself, take their profits out of the market all the time, and go on nice vacations like I'm doing tomorrow morning with the wife and kids. A nice treat every 2 or 3 months. I don't hear of you taking a vacation. Probably hate to take a profit I guess. Or maybe you don't have any to take. Maybe you don't even buy or sell stocks, you just like to pretend you do.
