Henry----COHU did buy Daymark some time back. As for buying back
their own stock---there isn't enough float as it is.

I remember when you had to make an appointment if you wanted to
buy or sell some of their stock.--- things were that quiet.

Henry,

Not sure what story you are referring to but in my opinion that is what Cohu has done with Helett Packard.

This is a significant breakthru in a completely different method of testing "in process".

Wished I could tell you more about this Direct rambus DRAM.I'm trying to read everything I can. It has to do with how the memory is aligned to the microprocessor (very close physically and done with(for lack of a better word double pack 64 vs 32).This is one of the features that makes it so quick. Intel supposedly has built chips that are rated up to 800 megahertz.

This new approach will once again allow greater yield and Cohu IS THE ONLY PLAYER (along with HP).Actually I think this is bad news for Teradyne.I think they sort of did in their mess kit by trying to jump around Cohu's niche.

If this new approach gets the business like pick and place got the business Backlogs and New Orders will be NO PROBLEM.Please understand a lot of this is me reading tea leaves cause no one is telling me this other than what I read from co. releases.
