You're right, N.Wayne. I've seen it all, too. I see you've been here for some time, so I defer to your experience. But just since last fall, I've been through the complete cycle more than once. I've seen both sides: shorts killing lurkers, and members blowing up shorts. Fascinating. You can wake up one day to find a board has been invaded by aliens! That's why it's important we keep control of this one. And we can do it. Auric Goldfinger, are you lurking? From what I've read, SI now has 105,000 members, up from 80,000 at the end of June. How many lurkers would you figure? 5:1? 10:1? No, not many CEOs. But there will be more and more "official" company spokespeople. Gotta happen. BAM
