On the theme of anti Japanese sentiment, I call your attention to Yahoo post 8733 re Sony and Panasonic. It supports the thesis that scientists of that homogeneous island nation are not as advanced in lith poly development as the gnomes of Henderson. (Dr. Saidi, I beleive, is Algerian.) I like the posts of superiormind on yahoo. Could it be FMK? where is FMK? happy Saturday to everyone!

You are mixing issues and doing it egregiously. The 1st amendment is not at issue. Your application of de Tocqueville's quote is hackneyed. As for a supposed thesis, your tolerance of ignorance misses the point. The biases (accusation of "inbreeding" implying the commonly associated effects of "inbreeding," the generalization that "orientals" are incapable of original design," and the jingoistic attitude) embedded in the argument provide a stark view of a jaded mentality. It was a pitiful statement.
