Hi, Clint,

I agree with your assessment about BRCM. My experience is that the information from BRCM leaks like a sieve. Once BRCM plunged 10 points and then recover. Two days later an early lock release was announced. Therefore this is not a good stock to trade for outsiders. Some people often know the revenue and earning numbers well before official release.

Hi Clint,

Thanks for your tip on brcm. I already initiated 1/4 position on brcm last Friday around 135. I have been eyeballing it for some days and almost bought some after its earning but held back due to the huge gap open. Thought it should have found some support around the area which I bought into. Now I think it might go down a little bit to close the gap and consolidate around 120~130 next week. But I am confident that it will pick up steam again before it splits on 2/17. Look at egrp. It splits next Monday and have had a nice run since last Wed. I bought some around 83 on Wed. and more around 96 last Friday and sold half out the same day at the close for a nice gain. Keep some for the split. I am looking at yhoo and bcst again. Even amzn might present some opportunity. Don't know if you still have amzn?

The reason I bought back my semi dogs is that I later felt that they might have some more up room before amat reports on 2/16. Judging from the action of some of my stocks after they reported earning lately ie pria, brks, klic, I feel that I'll be safe to keep them all until amat reports. I have accumulated these dogs from teens. Will held them until the next peak. If you look at their charts, you'll find they still have a long way to go to the top. I do believe they will pull back after amat reports and consolidate for a while. I'll do some hedging from time to time and accumulate more if there is a big dip coming.

PS Glad to see that my altr has positive money flow from the site that Doc referred to Mattie. I stole some paitence from Mattie for my altr last week. Will sell them next week though.
