Lorrie, res- "I see two people who are dedicated to each other in a absolute way...relationships evolve and "monogamy"...(ask our mormon friends) isn't always the choice people make...regardless of the "rules" and "contracts"...it doesn't work to try to legislate peoples sexuality...look at the SENATE!!! ;-I The only thing you see is what the White House spin machine wants you to see. I believe in actions not words. Sending your wife out into the public to claim the affair was all part of a "vast right wing conspiracy" and then making her have to suck it up later and say he lied to me too, doesn't have anything to do with mormonism or legislating morality. It's simple common decency and respect to not treat your wife that way. It's also demeaning and destructive to the relationship. There are certain principles all decent people believe in Lorrie. Honesty, integrity, courage, trust and trustworthiness. Apparently you are stuck in the mindset that to have those values and principles you must need religion or something. I know many atheists who deeply believe in those principles. It's not about legislation or religion. It's about the principles this country was founded on. Integrity, courage, fairness, trust and trustworthiness. Hmm. I think not...I do realize however, that the prosecution would like very much to SPIN monica that way...Trust me...I have friends in town that knew her at L&C...she's no "wallflower" and she's neither naive, nor non-invasive...she had taken a predatory approach to the President, and she got the job done. I believe that Monica is in collusion with the prosecution...and is doing an academy award winning performance. No Lorrie it's the media and white house spin machine which has painted her as a predator. You or I have no clue what Monica Lewinsky is really like. All we know is what she said at the testimony. You can choose to believe her or not. It's pretty obvious why your paradigm will not accept that she is just an ordinary young woman, and not some manipulating predator. If this had been an admiral in the Navy instead of the President using an intern for blow-jobs in the oval office. I have little doubt your conclusion would be far different.Michael, this is just plain laughable...and I don't think Monica can pull off the role in a believable way...she advanced on Clinton...she is a grown Woman...and it's way past time to face it. LOL! You can laugh all you wish Lorrie. I'm cracking up laughing watching the Democratic Senators go into panic mode regarding her testifying. :-)I admire the way he has handled this adversity...wich amounts to a severe invasion of privacy and a political assassination by Felatio...only in Repressed America! You admire a lier and perjury who uses woman and destroys his enemies and country for his own selfish purpose. If he had real courage he would have resigned nearly a year ago. Gore would be President and the country would move on as if nothing happened. One person is really not that important to the nation. Two weeks after his resignation most everyone would have forgotten about this sorry mess. Instead he is still lying, and acting as if it's someone's else's fault. You can't tell me he didn't know it was wrong to have sex in the Oval office with a 21 year old intern. Especially when he was going through a sexual harassment lawsuit. He demonstrated incredible poor judgement. Judgment is a cornerstone trait of the Presidents job. And look at the risk to national security he took making sex-phone calls. Who knows if this didn't influence his decision in sending sensitive missile technology to the Chinese. We may find out 30 years from now when Democracy finally comes to china what all that was about.Hardly! Again, do you understand the meaning of "consensual"? Why don't you ask Kathleen Wiley what the meaning of "consensual" is??:-) Convenient for liberals to forget her huh? Michael
