<As for CNBC statistics, I wouldn't trust them anyway. Losing traders are generally in a state of denial for awhile and not likely to provide accurate information. My stats come trading brokers themselves. They're not real likely to widely disseminate this type of info for obvious reasons.>

Great point. However, are broker stats any more accurate? I'd like to see the report from Momentum Securities to see the complete results. I'm dubious that with all the furor and hype surrounding "day-trading" there seems to always be "spin."

Are there any definitive stats that are accurate and can be trusted?
