I am curious about the ARP poison pill. Was the BCSC decision to disallow it based upon a general assessment of its usefulness "in the public interest" or upon specific rules and procedures?

If the former, was it then a simple judgment call, and what constituent public was being served?

If the latter, then specifically why was it disallowed?

Given that ARP now has bought itself more time, could it also institute another, modified poison pill that remedies the defects of the first one?

Gordon, I agree totally. Those funds who sell to soon will be sen to have been fools. few small investors will sell. I suspect that the $200 error was really an interla price of $20 that got out and added a decima point.
Just a thought.
