Hi Clint, Sorry for not being a more active participant lately. I'm trying not to trade too much this month and the prices on most stocks are so stratospheric and have risen so fast that I've stood aside. Besides all this, I've booked more profits in Jan than I did in all of 98, so I'm trying not to get too greedy. The market is extremely optimistic but the fundamentals of most tech. companies are extremely strong at least for another couple of quarters. I figure we'll be mostly OK till this summer when the Yr2K uncertainty should cause some nice volatility. I took profits on GBLX, LVLT and QWST (due to valuations). I'm not sure what we'll be hit with next just that it will be unexpected and therefore probably related to some international event. I wish I were working for BRCM but I should not complain where I am. Your point is still correct, BRCM has a sharp engineering team but its a matter of time before others catch up, so they should get margin pressure too, though that is not in the near future. (Besides, I thought one is never too rich), Later, - MJ PS: What's your opinion of ETEK? Are you closely following any Biotech stocks?
