I hate to rain on the parade, but a poster named Renowaterdog posted the following on Yahoo. I am reposting it here to help us keep things in perspective:

I think it's great that Paracelsian will be marketing some products on their own. I hope the New Century Line becomes a well known name. $$$$

However, I feel that I need to make a comment about the Barnes and Noble thing before it gets blown out of proportion here or on the SI board. The press release had just one line..... "an affiliation with BarnesandNoble.com through which a variety of health related books will be offered to NCN visitors". I'm very happy that PRLN did not make a big item of this because anyone with a bit of web background knows that it isn't big news. While, on the surface, this might seem like BIG NEWS, it really isn't that noteworthy. Almost any company or individual with a web page can set up an "affiliation" with Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, cdnow etc.. My wife and I have a small business web page and we set up an affiliation with Amazon.com with very little trouble. We keep their little search box on our page and get a small commision (10%) from any sales that result from it.

By the way, Ithaca9, can you give us a better idea of the news you mentioned in your posting? How are things in Ithaca?? I moved away from there three years ago and sort of miss the place.

Renowaterdog has not been a PRLN naysayer in the past. He has always been somewhat upbeat and he seems like a level-headed guy. I respect his opinion and salute him for keeping us grounded in reality.

However, I am still excited by the news release and I don't think it will hurt PRLN's chance when they try to raise 1.5 Million through a private placement.
