Good points-- keep posting them. Believe me, I am not excited about what is happening here. Without any news this weekend or this week, I am sure they will continue their assault!

This post is from the BRCM thread; IMO it is relevant to what is going on now with RMBS....Note: these are BRCM short numbers and the impact on the stock.

Recent monthly short interest numbers:

Jan 15: 344,199

Dec 15: 870,120

Average Daily Volume: 706,922

Change (%): -60.442%

During this time period, BRCM shot up 68%, to its $179.25 high close. BTW, on COB 12/15/98, BRCM was at $106.375.
