Happy Super Bowl day! Hope the market reacts well tomorrow with the outcome.

Got info from Paine Webber research note Jan. 29th 1999.
Key points:
No question, best quarter in the past 1+years. Recovery across the board. Momentum to build.
Total sales rose 6%

After two years of sluggish growth, Gillette's business appears ready for a turn, big turn

Mach 3 repurchase datat at 75%. This is a massive number.

SOWERE DOES THE STOCK GO?
Valuation will be ther only real issue to contend with over the next few trading days as the stock gathers momentum. If G is truly fixed and ready to replicate its period of 15 - 20% growth (forget that 2H99 will be up 15 - 20% simply that comparisons are so easy: results will really only be back to 1997's level), the relative multiple could move to the 50 - 60% level, or around $70 assuming our 1999 EPS estimate could be a nickel or so low. After the momenutm players get in and take the stock up very quickly, it wouldn't surprise us if it started to give up some gains. Investors should use any weakness as an opportunity to either initiate or add to position.

70 sounds good to me and realistic.....

Happy days and keep shaving.

Great news for G shareholders.
