You're hitting on some of the same things that have crossed my mind, BLZBub. Generally I get the picture of a rushed deal with some details yet to be resolved. I think the price is good. Like you, I would also guess NWI did not want participation from a senior, even if offered. Can't blame them for that, though. Still, I do wonder about the "subject to increase" clause, it's implications, and why it was thought necessary to be included. There is an old saying that, "the devil is in the details." Hopefully we'll learn more next week.

If you have a chance, read this weeks Northern Miner. They have a good article on Nuinsco's Lac Rocher project: how they got it, the drilling history, future plans and other players taking ground. I get it on-line and would post the article but I'm nervous of copyright infringement. I'll try and "excerpt" it tomorrow. Don't think NM would mind that.

While chances are still slim, I'm really hoping something significant develops. Possibly I'll make a few bucks but I can tell you the area really needs a win. A major find at Lac Rocher would benefit both North-Western Quebec and North Eastern Ontario. Here's hoping!

Even more attractive to Quebec residence, participants receive a 160% write-off on flow-thru placements. Any project north of 52 fetch a generous 200%.
