Terri,

If Denver wins I will be there for the parade on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Last year when they won I was staying at an apartment for a few days in Downtown and the noise when the final gun went off was incredible. All of Denver emptied into the streets and the city became one big traffic jam from Northglenn to Littleton. Larimer Square downtown within ten minutes looked like bourbon street on Mardis Gras. Cars ended up overturned, riots ensued, over one hundred partiers were arrested. When the parade came downtown two days later the crowd was estimated at 1.5 million which for Colorado is a crowd. I had a ball during all of it.

If they win I have promised to take my 17 year old daughter and head over to the parade. If they lose we will still be thankful because we have had the opportunity to watch the career of what I consider the greatest quarterback in the history of NFL football up close and personal. You are right they are zealots. We were the basement of the league for many many years and that trained us to accept our situation no matter if we won or lost. I like winning better. I would not be betting against Elway. He now has the guns to back him up.

The weather is by the way wonderful and can be 60 - 65 degrees this time of year. I hope you have a great trip.

Good luck Terri on your trip to Colorado.
My heart is for the 49ers.
But since I moved to Atlanta, got to join with the gang.
Redskin also one of my favorite team, but they haven't play good lately.
I don't watch sport much, only follow my favorite teams.
I think I spend too much of my time on this thread.
But I feel like I belong here.
This baby need my attention and my care.
Until it can get up and walk, I can't just leave it alone.
Have a nice weekend, Terri.

Johnny
