That was my third guess. I had a feeling there were duplicated entries with your instructions and the atapi setup. Its clear now why I don't what other files than the drivers themselves (driver wise) on floppy.

Check "Show all files"

Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types"

Sorry ...I realized as I got into MS DOS that I still have a few more questions about

Device=A:\CDs\TAISATAP.SYS /D:MSCD0001
and
LOAD CDs\TAISATAP.SYS

1. Should these commands be made at C:\windows> or A:> ? At A:> igot a bad command.

2. Which should come first Device= or LOAD?
