I'd like to introducing myself. I've been a "lurker" on SI for about half a year, and have gained such an appreciation for SI, and this thread in particular, that I made it my New Year's resolution to join. So tonight I did. Reading the thread through last Aug-Sept's volatility gave me the confidence to hold on, and I'm glad I did. With DELL, the best is always yet to come, and what a great week we've just had. I have held DELL since 1992, except for a brief 2 month period in Dec '96 - Jan 97. I sold because I thought it couldn't keep rising at such a pace. When I bought back into DELL in Feb. 97 I could only get back 2/3 of my original position. It had appreciated that much!!! What a phenomenal company, and what respect they command both for their business model, and financial performance. I'm a solid believer (and customer). I'd like to say thanks to the thread for the (usually) informative level of the postings, and the for the spirit in which we cheer DELL on. GO DELL GO DP
