twt, the prescription data does NOT include the seeding, which is why Wall Street was so enthusiastic (about the numbers) last week. I've always been confident that Celebrex will be well received. Next week's scripts should be strong as well. We'll see how it goes.

Scripts usually come out on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning, unless the media manages to ferret the news out early in the morning.

Last week's Celebrex scripts was provided by NDC Health Information Services. I believe IMS also tracks prescription trends.

when large numbers of samples are handed out (with an Rx if they like the result) You often would not see proof of the Rx being written until the patient runs out of samples. The proof of how good the product is , is when the patient puts his money on the table. Filling after sampling is almost as positive as repeat prescriptions
