"Stuffing Channel"-I hope mngmt feels they can't do that again.

"Apathetic"-I doubt that a management would collectively be apathetic
in such a competitive environment.

"Egotistic"-This is not necessarily bad...creating a drive to overachieve.

"Conflict with retailers"-this will happen in an attempt to become more efficient and cost effective in the distribution model while avoiding legal repercussions.

"Shares for AV spinoff"-many corporations have spun off partial assets
to pay for acquisitions. This might create shareholder value in the
stock (CPQ) that I initially purchased. I didn't buy AV.

"Beat DELL"-investors are free to own both stocks.
DELL is an incredible stock in the past, with an extremely high P/E.
I would think some DELL investors might want to balance their
computer stocks with CPQ. Depends on one's investment horizon.

CPQ and DELL might even diverge more as companies in the future
and at that point comparisons play less of a role.
