The Yahoo board is not so bad: it uses language like lances in a medieval jousting match. I imagine it as a huge cavernous pen: nobody can see anybody else and, protected by the darkenss, they act out, yell insults, jeer, whimper, pontificate, and perform bodily functions. I wonder what would happen if suddenly the light went on and their mothers came in the room.

"That depends on what you mean by" barbaric. Compared to the mosh pit at a Surf Punks from Hell concert...no. Actually, there are some good people on Yahoo who utilize the old grey matter but the majority are tunnel vision holders, spammers, and of course the garden variety of loudmouths from other boards chiding CPQ. There are also many newbies and others who refuse or don't know how to read or research as the amount of redundant questions is amazing. On the other hand... The Investor's club was developed to bring people to a focal spot for discussion without the detractions. We certainly lack the depth of this board but always trying to figure out the field marshal. In fact, we had a chat room meeting last week (my first chat room encounter) and it was pretty cool to have a party of people together for almost instantaneous feedback. We do try to have a good time and there is a fair amount of kidding but are serious about our investments.
