Actually I have read a lot of things written by Lani Guinier so there Mr sunshine and smiles. Because I feel that the GenX group is one of the groups being dominated by the evil baby boomers. Anyway this abortion issue doesnt really apply to her arguments because we are debating the legality of something as it pertains to the individual. Your argument would make sense, say if the bay area was pro-life and wanted to legislate that towards Alabama. Then we would be forcing our views on them, their freedoms would be taken away. But as it turns out the liberal areas only want certain options to remain available, we are not taking personal choices away - ironically it is the pro-lifers, an extreme faction, who are dominating the majority in this case.
