Particularly busy day for late January here at the real estate store in our little backwoods, rural western Colorado semi-remote valley....very strong suspicions that several of the people to whom I gave topo map overviews and tours of the current property listing inventory had some y2k concerns. Sticker shock is a terrible thing, though. I see more and more cases of people realizing that, on their income & assests, they ain't never gonna live in these parts. Hope our resident thread pollyandies will take a little time off from here and get after the National Guard, Bennett's committee, et al and ridicule them for thinking there's issues to be dealt with. Come on guys, we're just the smallest of the small fry...there's much bigger fish needing a strong dose of your enduring charm and assurances. Moonlight skiing on the Mesa tonight....wonder if anyone will bring the topic up. I'm not saying a thing about it unless others get going on it.
