One indicator being used by some people is the
specialist/member short position % change. It
shot up last 2 days:
marketgauge.com

I don't see definite correlation with SPX in that chart tho.

Other items I'm finding of interest are those charts of the Value Line Index in which is still nearly 10% off last springs high, and the Utility Index that is very close to breaking down.

Perhaps a time to be nimble! Isn't it always? <g>
