The share price decline on 22 Jan. is unrelated to the stock split.

The delay surprised me too!!

Possible reason because vested interests favour those who don't tell.

If you knew Wind was worth $32 and you had a buyer at $48, would you inform them what you knew, or would you consider your knowledge worth a $16 premium? I suspect the latter.

Any unusual volume would trigger suspicion and then finally some big position changes hands (maybe someone gets too greedy) and the market wakes up. Of course, panic ensued amongst the still stunned but no more knowledgeable.

And missing something like this is so embarrassing that it will all be quietly swept under the rug. IMHO/John.
