Marc,
The quarterly review is most interesting. Gold production is up over 50% over last year. This obviously has a great deal to do with how the cost of producing copper dropped to minus one cent per pound. There must be a significant gold enriched zone that has been encountered during the normal course of mining. If this enriched area of the mine is extensive, FCX is on tract to produce well over 3 million ounces of gold in 1999, of which 2 million ounces is for their own account. Most interesting.
