Computer Associates Inc., which will support Jini in its Unicenter TNG management tool and Jasmine database, claims that few software companies were willing to sign Sun's new Community Source License Agreement for fear of the cost. CA officials say the company does not plan to use Sun's source code and so does not expect to pay royalties.
