Sergio,

Welcome back!!!

Re: VRIO, if I were an insider I'd be selling too! I haven't been on the thread too much lately but I assume you know the basics. Company loses an unbelievable amount of money. They can solve some of the bleeding by migrating to QWST network but it's a long haul to get there. There's so much else in the market with regard to good companies that don't have these issues I don't see why it's worth taking a chance.

The VRIO IPO outlines all the prices they paid for the companies in their consolidation play. Incredibly high prices were paid for the underlying ISPs, as much as 14 times revenue for companies losing piles of money. Most were about 6 times revenue as I recall.

That said, they talk the talk and have outstanding backing on the Street. Sometimes that's all it takes.

Also, a lot of the stock board "pundits" are touting VRIO as the next NSOL. Makes me LOL, they're not even remotely in the same business except as 3rd cousins supporting the same end users.

Phil

Amigo Sergio

Since posting to you on Jan 13 the following on VRIO insider selling:

<<Good question about all the 144's on VRIO. I had looked at that before I went long. In Dec there were twelve 144's or planned sales but the largest was for 1279 shares, then 8 for 853 shares, then 1 for 170 and 1 for 85 shares. Nov showed 2 small acquisitions and 2 dispostions of 270,000 each. In Oct there were planned sales of 6666 shares, 16,666 shares and 98,582 shares. All previous filings since the IPO were on intial filings, purchases, and exercised (options I assume). Others know a lot more than me about this stuff but it didn't look to bad to me. I would appreciate any helpfull comments you might have about the nature of the activity there.>>

I see another 144 listed as Jan 7, 1999, for 25,000 shares.

This recent filing does bother me some so I re-iterate the sentences in bold above.
