DM...IDTC We need to come-up with an agreed term so we will all know what we are referring too "When an already publically traded company (MALL) decides to spin-off some assets through an IPO (UBID)where the parent company (MALL) will retain a significant holding in the former subsidiary (UBID) post IPO" Well..we can't be saying all that every time!!!! so we need a name for it...I call the portfolio "unbundled" techstocks.com but on the thread we've used terms such as "NET/IPO" "back door IPO" "Net spin-off" all for the same thing..sorry for the confusion.
