I don't know anything at all about Tiefer; it's Spidey who keeps bringing him up, and Spidey isn't the most reliable of sources. Charles Kricfalusi worked for Amazon beginning sometime in 1997 until February of 1998. Earlier he'd worked for the PR division of Creative Capital, run by George Doumanis. CC was described as late as last fall as Amazon's "investment bank". They are, in fact, a b/d. Creative has ties to Andy Mann, who "stole" the 4mm shares that Mike Sylver gave him without bothering to ask for payment. And so on. It really is awfully complicated, and difficult to explain succinctly.
