Pairgain stated they would avoid Alcatel, not Cisco. This wasn't the first time Pairgain stated they wouldn't compete against Alcatel. They went on to say they won a contract from 7 competing vendors and Cisco was one of them. Pairgain won on functionality, not price. They also talked about the Sprint/Cisco contract, and Pairgain was looking at becoming 2nd source.

Are you sure you heard Cisco, because I heard Alcatel... until later.
