Ish--I have no knowledge at all of bait casters.
It may or may not be very valuable. I wouldn't use it as a pry bar right now though.
The fly rod values are dependent on the number the rod maker made, (often a lifes work was some where around 700 to 1000), the condition of the rod, and the particular model. I have seen very few custom rods over the years, a couple of Leonards, a Dickerson, and a Gillum.
