Larry,

A lot of ISPs and data service companies (the one I work for included) are adding lots of added value services provided by vendors selling unified messaging, videoconferencing, fax and voice over IP, caching, you name it. We're testing all of these in the next three months; caching and messaging are already installed. The services mentioned that VRIO is selling are in the same arena.

While VRIO is hosting the services and getting good press they almost certainly do not have any exclusives with the companies providing them. If VRIO proves this stuff out we can call all their suppliers and get the same deal, or get better stuff from others. It can be installed and productized in about 2-4 months from a completed memo of understanding. Speed to market does matter, but frankly, the demand for this stuff is still in its infancy as of today.
