No sweat Bill,

I don't really require a response on my points as I was just kinda thinkin' out loud.

But I would like to know about whether it is 3,000 tonnes or 8-14,000 tonnes.

That does make quite a difference in assessing whether there is wholesale manipulation of the price of gold, or that it is less severe than originally thought.

A spike in gold based upon a 3,000 tonne short position worries me far less than one based on the larger amount. I'm sure 3,000 tonnes short is far more managable through various financial mechanisms.

Regards,

Ron
